Iranian series about Daesh unveils first poster

Iranian series ‘Safe House’, on Daesh atrocities, unveils poster.

Iranian TV series ‘Safe House’ which is about atrocities of the Daesh Takfiri terrorist group has unveiled its first poster.

Directed by ifilm’s Ahmad Moazzami, the series is about the threats posed by Daesh to the Middle East.

The unveiling of the poster comes as about 75% of the series has been filmed.

The poster depicts the actor Qorban Najafi, who plays the role of Abu Amer, a member of the terrorist group.

“It’s difficult to ignore my hatred of Daesh, playing the role of a member of the group, but I did my best in this role,” Najafi said.

“To reach the character, I never watched any documentary or other film about Daesh, because I cannot bear their violence,” he added.

‘Safe House’ will be aired in the second half of the Iranian calendar year (beginning September 22).

Amin Zendegani, Parviz Fallahipour, Sima Tirandaz and Hamid-Reza Pegah have joined Najafi in making up the series’ cast.

‘Safe House’ is written by Hossein Torabnejad.
